This video was wonderful, as a doll restorer myself, I am jealous of your air brush, I hand paint and shade….jealous cause bf put my machine in the garage and end up crocheting or hand sewing clothes, mixed with other vintage I may have. It was wonderful seeing you repair a squeaker! I found some vintage based squeakers as toys from an import store but they are too big for small dolls, but okay for large teddy bears. Thank you for showing all your skills, it was marvelous!

the doll looks nice. But your "restoration" goes against almost every principle of antique doll restoration. It isn't an antique anymore but a Duane doll...no real doll collector would want it. Maybe do some research on what are acceptable changes and those that are complete destruction of the original only to be replaced by an amateur individual....Sorry to see this happen. At least maybe you learned something. Just don't go restoring/ruining anymore antiques.

Considered throwing away the few I have that are rusted, but decided first I would YT "restoring Tonka truck" and came across your channel. Great video, that is so inspiring. Guess after all, I WON'T be throwing them away.

Awesome restoration! Just picked up an old turbo diesel Tonka dump truck yesterday for 20 bucks. In nowhere near as bad of shape. Seller had a second one that was a little more rough and considered restoring. What name is the yellow spray paint you're using? The match looks spot on!

I mean, all things considered, that buzz was still in pretty decent conditions at the beginning. Just one sticker missing, working wings, full dome piece, and no corrosion? Very well kept, still.. that end result is pretty sweet
